Welcome to the site of Aurelle-Verlac, a small village in Aveyron. This department is located in the southern part of France, between Clermont-Ferrand and Montpellier.
You will find here, in French, a presentation of the natural sites of the Commune and its surroundings, in the departments of  Lozère, Aveyron and Cantal.
You will discover medieval castles and old stone-built houses.  You will also find a visit to the Aubrac plateau, which is a vast uninhabited extent in the North of the village. Populated by thousands of cows, which graze a luxuriant grass, the Aubrac plateau is a world in itself, in which you will find serenity and meditation.
Come to visit the area, the inhabitants of Aurelle-Verlac and other places around are friendly. There are not many tourists, and you will eat very well. Do not forget to taste the meat of the Aubrac cows, breed exclusively with grass on the plateau, and the Laguiole cheese, produced from their milk.
When using the link below, you will turn over to the French-speaking summary, and I hope  you will succeed in browsing using the language of Molière.
